Republicans fear attacking Obama will brand them racists

When confronted with Al Gore’s Jolly-Green-Giant-sized carbon footprints, every Democrat I’ve seen on television says that what he does doesn’t matter; all that matters is what he says, which is that we should ditch our automobiles; hang our clothes out to dry; and build our houses out of grass. Besides, they say, he buys (questionable) carbon offsets.

If he was a Roman Catholic breaking every rule of behavior laid down by his church, I imagine they would say that he isn’t setting a bad example for his children because every week he confesses to his priest.

The current Pope was right when he recently warned that environmentalism is becoming a religion. The ostracism of scientists who question any of the claims of those who say that people are causing disastrous changes in the climate and threats to arrange for the removal of meteorologists’ professional credentials mirrors the way religious sects have—and some still are—treating heretics.

Preachers have used hell fire and damnation to keep their flocks in line. Environmentalists use forecasts of cataclysmic, human-caused climate change in an attempt to frighten the world’s wealthiest nations into transferring massive amounts of wealth to the rest of the world—a result that would warm any Marxist’s heart. (This was a major theme of their recent meeting in Bali, a tourist mecca far, far away from the homes of most attendees.)

Barack Obama having using cocaine doesn’t bother Democrat spokespeople either because he has confessed to using it. (If when they were condemning George Bush by saying he, too, had used illegal drugs, I wonder if he had admitted to using them if they would have said, “O.K., then there’s no problem.”)

Could the constant (unproven) drumbeat from the Democrats about President Bush being a liar be due to the fact that Bill Clinton--who didn’t inhale--was disbarred because he lied to a federal judge about exposing himself to a woman?

In his first book, “Dreams from My Father,” Barack Obama writes that when he was an undergraduate “I chose my friends carefully. The more politically active black students. The foreign students. The Chicanos. The Marxist professors and structural feminists and punk rock performance poets.” He says that he thought it necessary to “prove which side you were on, to show your loyalty to the black masses, to strike out and name names.”

Obama never experienced segregation. He wasn’t even raised in a majority white society, as he was raised in Hawaii and Indonesia. This self-avowed son of Africa was born in this country to a white American mother. Barack Hussein Obama, Sr, his black, African-born father, left when he was two years old. They exchanged a few letters, and his father showed up for one brief visit. His father was killed when his son was 21.

The church to which Senator Obama belongs, Chicago’s Trinity United Church of Christ, is dedicated to black liberation theology, which is based on Latin American liberation theology, which is a Marxist Christian theology.

Because the Republicans have not even dared to acknowledge the fact that the press has changed the color of states it carries from blue to red, the color used by socialist and communist parties throughout their history, and Republicans can be expected to be branded as racists if they mention any of the things about Obama cited above, if he becomes the Democrats’ candidate for president, the Republicans will not dare lay a glove on him about any of it.

Will they even dare to quote Andrew Young about Obama not having had enough experience yet to be qualified to be president?
